For over 8 years The Village Pop Up has brought a variety of high-quality events to the South of England. We know that the UK is filled with gourmet street food, innovative small businesses, and outstanding musical talent, and it's our aim to introduce you to these at every one of our events.  No​w our mission is to grow and spread the joy of pop up retail across the UK and beyond.

 

We handpick street kitchens showcasing the cuisine of many countries around the world from here at home to Tibet, Afghanistan, Thailand, Brazil, Portugal, and Japan to name a few. We believe in helping small business owners to develop their businesses and their brand. This is why, we sometimes rotate trader’s through our network as it gives us the chance to keep each location fresh and for them to experience a new location.

Our markets highlight a diverse range of creatives selling arts, crafts, vintage clothing, antiques, records and more. We always look to promote the local in this aspect of our events, meaning that you’re able to support a small business you love after the weekend has finished. Music is our shared passion and our involvement in National Record Store Day has seen us host artists who have gone on to achieve great things.

This includes IDLES, Band of Skulls, Blaenavon, Cabbage, and The Magic Gang, as well as us receiving national coverage from BBC 6 Music and NME. To ensure we cover our costs and can continue to bring the best events to the South, we set a modest ticket price for adults but allow children under 14 in for FREE (some of our events are FREE to all).
